The interesting thing is that the committee seeded Kansas & Kansas St better than the NET suggested (actual 4 seeds as compared to worst 5th seed/worst 6th seed in the NET), and both failed to make the Sweet 16.

Now, KenPom also had 15 Sweet 16 teams in his Top 18 at the end of the conference tournaments. KenPom also would have seeded Kansas a 5 and Kansas St a 6.

The main difference between NET and KenPom: Houston (4th NET, 15th KenPom). The two rankings agree on the other seven teams predicted to make the Elite 8.

Even more than that, the NET is 15-0 in rd 2 and looking like 16-0 with Oregon- and now 43-9 thru rd 2.
