Now what might be in the best interest of Donald Trump is to release information about all the people Mueller prosecuted and why, and to release information on all the reasons Mueller didn't choose to prosecute Trump or his children without releasing any of the information about what they actually did. Why wouldn't he do that? What Trump administration official has conducted themselves honorably throughout this entire process? None of them. Why would Barr be any different?

JOY REID: Unlike the independent counsel, which that statute was allowed to expire after Bill Clinton, which can be a runaway thing of its own, but at least that’s controlled by Congress. Which you know it will leak, if it gets to Congress it comes out that day.

Just like 2016 election (and every election they lose) democrats can't accept any result that isn't in their favor. No evidence of Trump collusion means Mueller covered up everything.

Another Clinton associate calls continued witch hunt detrimental to Dems.

"Despite the obvious temptation to continue investigating Trump, based on political differences and an intense dislike of him as an individual, the Democrats must put this issue to bed. The Mueller investigation is over, and the president will not be indicted.

If Democrats continue to look backward at the 2016 election and cry foul, it will seriously hurt their electability in 2020 and create the conditions for Trump’s reelection...."
