Wobbly finish, but I'll happily take the win. Gayle's pitching is still pretty exciting, but he's definitely improved.

We needed that. Maybe we can go on a win streak now but the next 5 are on the road (and so far this year, we're 1-4 in road games with the only win coming at UH).

Cruz out today with food poisoning. Comeaux did a nice job at SS until an error in the 9th. That was our 1st error in 4 game I think. Gneiting had a good day at 3rd also. We really played a good game but barely won. We really need an influx of talent.

It's probably over. He's going to have surgery, and then check his options on getting a waiver to get another season.

Since we played the powerhouse known as Texas State, Gayle has 4 IP with 8 K's, 1 hit, and 1 BB. Kid has looked great despite his flat fastball.
