He is an incredible basketball coach and a real outgoing personality that can keep UC - Irvine loose. They are very fortunate to have him as a coach.

If anyone can pull this off its BT. He will be an instant sensation if they win. There's a lot of horse to go with his hat.

He is hilarious to watch during the game. If you get a chance to watch Irvine just keep an eye on him. Really happy for how things are going for him, and there is a ton of Blaine in that team.

I’m glad, too. He was an incredible coach. Second to none. Wish the bottle didn’t get the best of him. He will always have that demon chasing him - but glad he is in a better place now. I’ll be rooting hard for UC tonight!

Russel Turner has been there 9 years, he’s an ex NBA assistant. The only similarity to Blaine’s teams is they can’t score a lick. The offense is horrible

I get that. But they just scored 70 on Kansas State. Pretty sure they are one of the best defenses in the nation. “Horrible” seems pretty harsh. I doubt they score much more than 50 or 55 in this game, but Oregon is a pretty tough matchup.
I just spent an entire season watching ODU shoot 40 percent and score 65 points a game. So I guess my judgement of “horrible” offenses is a tad skewed.
