We may have hit rock bottom. UTSA's Rock just singled in a run in the 7th and the Roadrunners take a 1-0 lead. Meanwhile, a former cricket player is shutting us out.

Hate the WTF logo on tonight's uniforms. It looks like an "R" followed by a hot mess.

Got two runs back in B7. Single, double, triple ... runner left stranded at 3rd on 4-3 bounce out.

2-3, heading to T8.

The only thing worse than our play on the field this season is our messing with the best uniforms in college baseball.

After two good curve ball's, Jefferies' 3rd pitch is rapped sharply to first ... bobbled ... but corralled and the force is made to end the inning.

B9:

First Owl hitter slaps a ball deep in the 1B-2B hole. Runners' 2B makes a good play to knock the ball down and throw to first, but it's a tad late. But called OUT!! Terrible call!! (Replay showed the Owl clearly safe.)

Dunlap hit in the middle of his back on a 2-1 pitch.

Collins works the count to 3-2 ... foul down RF line ... and again (off the Roost roof, this time ... soft grounder into left-center! 2 on.

Beaulaurier in to run for Collins.

2-1 pitch jams Frazier. Fists a high pop fly to 3B, just behind the bag.

Slow Curve ball ... called strike! Arrgh.
Same pitch ... a little more outside ... check swing ... OUT. (Could have been a called strike or a swing.) Sigh.

Rice loses, 4-2.

Bummer.

Back to watching NCAA basketball and the Maybank Championship.
