Agree completely about someone with a niche recruiting skill. I'd be very good with either someone with strong ties to international players or on the transfer market. Both are areas we could exploit to upgrade our talent level. It's not happening with recruiting traditional kids coming out of high school.
We've had a ton of international players on the roster over the last couple of years. Hell, we have 3 on the roster right now and tried to bring in that kid from Argentina that instead went to TCU.
I'm not talking about guys already at schools / on teams in the states that were born overseas.
I'm talking about guys that are currently playing internationally. The only one who I guess you could qualify as that was Nsoseme, but he was at an Academy in Canada right across the border, which is kind of a reach to consider a true international prospect.
Farabello is really the only one that would qualify, but we didn't land him.

Maybe even a suggest a candidate if he has some particular insight. But that's about it. ADs should direct athletics and let their coaches coach, including finding their own assistants.
Seconded. I highly doubt he has the experience or knowledge to handle the finer aspects.

So long as he knows Jenifer and Broome are both gone.
