Possible transfers
Are there any Central Arkansas kids playing at other schools who might be looking to transfer do to lack of playing time (or any other reason)? I really don't know of any. I guess there might be a couple of hog players if (or when) Anderson is fired. In the past, there seemed to be a lot more Arkansas kids playing for bigger out-of-state programs than there are now.

RE: Possible transfers
Assuming no one else leaves, we are in good shape at 1, 2, 4 and 5. Rayjon played the 2 a bunch, but he was essentially a 3 on our roster.

Hope Bankston returns. But if he doesn’t we have some good freshmen returning and we already have a 6’11 and 7 footer committed

So the turnover is not necessarily a bad thing. Each coach has his own personality and style, and he presumably recruits to his style. And DW ought to get to sink or swim with his own team. This is just hurrying up the process a little.

He must be the athletic looking guy that was always with Dunkam at the games. I was wondering who he was.

Add Carlo Marble. He is already on campus. 6-4 guard ESPN rated him a 3 star.

Based on his junior college numbers, last season, at Kirkwood Junior College I have a hard time seeing him as being a major contributor on the DI level. He averaged 8.4 points, but only played 17.8 minutes a game. In conference play he averaged 6.7 points and played only 13.9 minutes a game. Can't imagine a guy who played limited minutes at a Juco coming here and being anything other than a role player. I guess we can hope that he didn't get along with his Juco coach and that would explain his lack of playing time. He was actually quite productive considering his minutes played.

RE: Possible transfers
He does have good bloodlines;
Carlo Marble, youngest son of the late Roy Marble, Iowa’s all-time leading scorer, has committed to play basketball at Kirkwood, he tweeted Friday.
Marble, a 6-5 forward, averaged 11.6 points on 42.9 percent shooting, including a 42.2 percent mark from 3-point range, in helping West Des Moines Valley win the Class 4A state championship this season. He also pulled down 5.0 rebounds and averaged 2.1 assists per game.

Basketball runs in his family.
Roy Marble, who died of cancer at the age of 48 in September, is the only player in Iowa history to score more than 2,000 points (2,116).
Devyn Marble, Carlo’s oldest brother, was a first-team all-Big Ten selection in 2014 after scoring 1,694 points in four years at Iowa and is now with the NBA's Orlando Magic. Merrick Mackdanz-Marble averaged 6.1 points as a freshman at New Mexico Military at the NJCAA D-I level this past season.
Their youngest sister, Roichelle Marble, is a sophomore at Wisconsin. Royonah Marble played sparingly for Des Moines East’s 2011 state-championship team.
