Hollman maybe ran a sub-4.4. Wow. I think he may have an outside chance of being drafted. Not bad for a former walk-on.

Also, Adam Schefter reporting that Jon'Vea Johnson ran between 4.33 and 4.37.

For some reason, the tweet won't show up right as an embed here.

HE deleted it because he misspelled Toledo.

My eyes always light up when I'm scrolling through my Twitter newsfeed and see a positive tweet from Adam Schefter (who has 7.3 million followers) regarding our Toledo Rockets. Point being, it's a big deal and not just hearsay.

WR Jon’Vea Johnson is an interesting case, has put up some decent career numbers and great workout numbers, but was not even invited to the Combine. Will be really interesting to see if he is a surprise pick in the draft versus ending as UDFA.

Hollman is getting a lot more press now after his pro day.

He's invited to the Eagles local player day
https://www.lehighvalleylive.com/sports/...rback.html

And here's an interview with him:
https://nfldraftblitz.com/2019/03/25/cb-...interview/

Wow, he almost transferred out ... to Hampton, of all places. Glad that did not happen.

Texans to workout Hollman

The article also lists 7 other teams he reportedly has visits with.

Diontae had a visit with Denver.

Also saw a report of Jon-Vea having a visit scheduled with Dallas. Have not seen much reported on who might be looking at Thompson.

RE: Former Toledo wide receivers impress at nfl pro day
I'll start a 2019 Rockets in the NFL thread soon, but in the mean time, more positive press on this year's class:

Path to the Draft: Cody Thompson (from The Eagles Wire)
https://theeagleswire.usatoday.com/2019/...-thompson/

Diontae Johnson, Toledo WR: On His Visit w/ DEN, What He'll Bring To NFL (Audio Interview)
https://orangeandblue760.iheart.com/cont...ng-to-nfl/
when asked how he ended up at Toledo "... I never knew the school existed ... what is Toledo?" Hopefully if he plays on Sundays that will be less of a problem for future HS players.

Also, reported on twitter that both Hollman and Reggie Howard were invited to the Lions local player day.

Reportedly Howard posted good numbers at the Toledo Pro Day. I think he may have a good chance to end up in somebody's camp in the fall.

Toledo still does have a name recognition problem. I can't count how many times I've seen in tweets and blogs: "Cody Thompson - Tulsa". Today I see a new one: "Cody Thompson - TCU". Come On Man.

Toledo players continue to get lots of visits with NFL teams. A couple stories:

My prediction for NFL draft is Thompson gets snagged in 7th round, both Johnson’s and Hollman sign FA deals
