So because of a strange loophole, Marshall is still very much alive in the Men's Basketball Imperialism Map.

Usually, only teams that make the NCAA Tournament technically ended their season with a win, so only NCAA tourney teams can have land by the end of the year. WHat happened was that Cornell finished their regular season with a win, but was ineligible for the Ivy League Tournament. They then accepted a bid for the CIT.
