Purely as a bad speaker. Monotone, boring, uninspiring.

I didn't like her as a mayor but that view has nothing to do with her role as a bad speaker. Anyone being objective will say the same thing.

Thanks for the clarification. I dont think I've ever heard her speak, so wasnt sure how she sounded.

IMO, The bar for bad speakers was set by George Rupp (2007?). Ghastly.

Everyone can judge for themselves. Here's the first example I found. I haven't watched more than the first minute. (Mostly because I have somewhere to go.)

This sounds like the opposite of "a face made for radio". Perhaps "a voice made for newspaper"?

I've been told that I'm a good speaker with a bad voice. And to be honest, I think that's true.
