Traveling fans
We had, by far, the most fans of any women's team in New Orleans. Don't expect a great turn-out in Corvallis, Oregon. I was worried about Gonzaga having a ton of fans being next door in Washington. However, it is actually a 7 hour drive from Spokane to Corvallis. Their men's team will also be playing on Saturday as long as a second 16 vs. 1 upset doesn't occur. So I guess their turnout in Corvallis will depend on how many diehard women's basketball fans they have. I tend to doubt their fans will be a major factor or will out-number the Oregon State fans rooting for the underdog (us), if we keep it competitive in the second half.
