Common opponents
Our girls lost to Missouri State 48-44. Gonzaga beat Missouri State 70-67. Hopefully, this suggests it may be a competitive game.

RE: Common opponents
We played the first 8 or 9 games without 2 starters who played an average of about 38 minutes in the Sun Belt tourney. With those two girls we may have been able to beat somebody in our "loaded" nonconference schedule. We are clearly a better team now. If we play our best we can beat Gonzaga. But, it will take our best effort and they probably need to be a little bet off. I fell like if you give Joe Foley 5 days to prepare for somebody, he has chance.

RE: Common opponents
We're going to have our hands full with this match-up but I like our chances.

We're going to have to shoot lights out and make them shoot outside and get the rebound when they do.

6-1 Zykera Rice appears to be their money player. Leads team in scoring and rebounds. Minutes leaders height wise are 6-3, 6-1, 6-0, 5-8, 5-6. Next minutes leaders are 6-3, 5-11, 5-10.

We can't get into a running game with them. They have eight players averaging more than 20 min / game. We have six.

They have one player averaging ~15 ppg, three ~9 ppg and two ~8 ppg.
We have two at ~15 ppg, one ~9 ppg and one ~8 ppg.

I think Gonzaga may be looking ahead to Oregon St. 04-jawdrop
It will come down to defense, protecting the ball and the 'Foley Factor'
It's March and time for the madness to begin! 03-shhhh

RE: Common opponents
Three of the four losses for Gonzaga this year were against BYU and the last one was by double digits. I'm sure our team will be watching game footage of all of those match-ups! BYU's RPI is 26.
