Why didn’t we foul up three under 10 seconds? It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Yea, coulda, shoulda,...but couldn't agree more, though. Listening to Coach Mccray's post game interview, their plan was to prevent a three point shot by playing up close one-on-one and forcing NOVA into a back cut play. Had ODU been successful, couldn't have given NOVA the opportunity for any more points than a preempt foul (non 3-point shooting foul) that you suggest would have resulted in. All in all, great effort and very proud of our young ladies. Go Monarchs!

I thought it was a fun game to watch. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to get a preview...my work schedule has been terrible this week. But Nova made 15 3's and 13 baskets inside the arc. It's an easy team to scout. The foul thing at the end. Yes a big part of that is coaching, but part of me wants to chalk it up to a young team forgetting the strategy of the game and just getting caught up in the moment. The excitement of winning a playoff game.

This team has a lot to be proud of. To go from 8-23 to 21-11 is an amazing turnaround. I certainly didn't expect it. Now we just need to get some fans out to support them. But better days ahead. Go Monarchs!
