RE: NCAA tournament.....
Looks like our UNCW/CAA group comes down to me or HAWKING! Virginia wins, I win. Virginia loses, he beats me by a measly 10 points (IE the value of one correct first round pick).

Are you gender assuming?
Congrats to you both though, for ensuring a UNCW fan win!

RE: NCAA tournament.....
I just heard about a guy who, at the beginning of the season (November), plunked down $1,500 on Texas Tech to win the national title. If he wins the bet, he gets $300,000.
Someone offered him $57,500 for the rights to his bet before Saturday. He turned it down.
I heard he was offered $125,000 after Texas Tech advanced to the finals and turned that down too. Ballsy! I'd have taken the money and run.

i'd have certainly taken the 125. It's essentially a coin flip.

RE: NCAA tournament.....
Keep in mind he had another $800 bet on Texas tech as slightly worse odd and he did sell that one for nearly 21K. So no matter what he is out ahead of both of those bets with the one he did sell even if Virginia wins.
With that said, at 125k I would have sold. That is still getting 83:1 on your bet
