Totally agree. The slow down on offense really took Houston out of their game. Cronin definitely gets some props for that strategy.

I notice his approach changed toward the second half of this year. I think maybe he realized he was getting this groups full effort and without the yelling. He still yells on defense at crucial junctures, but for the most part, seems pretty mellow with them. I'm fine with it, they've exceeded my expectations; given what we lost last year and the development I've seen this year.

Funny you would say that. i thought there should have been one or two instances where a Mick blow up was warranted because of all the holding and grabbing of Jarron. Sometimes you got to defend your best player. Alls well that ends well i reckon.

Great game Bearcats. I think Houston was more worn down after 3 games in 3 days and rely so much on jump shots, which don't always fall with dead legs.

Hoping we can put a little run together now.

I said yesterday that I thought UH looked gassed against Memphis and wondered if as hard as they play if that worked on 24 hours recovery time and 3 games in 3 days.

Plus Corey Davis congratulated JC but added that the POY would be decided in the Tournament. Decision made.

Bearcats were overachievers this year but I want more.
Hoping for a great seed, location and matchup and maybe a shot at playing weekend 2 of the NCAAs.
