Pearl owns Cal and now his old employer.

The governors of Alabama and Tennessee are both happy

Did anybody see the Vol players’ court interview after they beat KY yesterday?

Three or maybe even four of the UTK players went on a weirdo rant about their entitled-to -win status because they do everything for God.

It was weird. They told the interviewer to pray for Auburn, and the context was senseless.

Yeah. It was weird. I guess a lot of prayers went up for Auburn. That was an old fashioned trip to the woodshed.

It was a thing of beauty to watch! Can’t wait for them to miss the final 4 again this year and return to being garbage next season once Grant & Admiral are gone.

People have gotten really loose with how they speak of God.

It is so bad that if someone asks me "How are you?" I say "I am well. How are you?" and if they reply with "Blessed and highly favored" I immediately tell them to "F@%k off"

I am not certain but I kind of think any mention of God on twitter is almost certainly blasphemy if being a Cristian is you kind of thing.

Some make that claim, some don't.

They referenced praying for a former Vol, that remains close to the program and is battling leukemia. They also referenced praying for those is Alabama, near Auburn, who were hit by tornadoes a week or before the SEC tournament,

Huh....I didn't hear any of that, but perhaps it got smushed in there with their answers to her questions.

Your most recent OT win didn't have an on court interview that was broadcast.

I understood it, but being a TN fan, I probably have a little more context.

I get why opposing fan bases don't care for this group, but they are good kids. Kind of a nerdy group. Never get in trouble, more likely to play board games than be in a bar/club, do a ton of community service, et. They are good ambassadors for the University.

I assume you probably feel the same about your current group as they seem to have a good group and kids like Jeffries and Wiseman coming in always seem to project a good image.

I have no idea if these guys are good guys or not, the behaviour of Vol athelethes in the past have made the general public think that Vols are pathetic excuses for students ( performing a robbery in UTk sweatsuit , etc)

Hopefully UTk athletes are better people now04-cheers

Btw: on the court this is the best UTk team I have ever watched , the sweet16 trip is proof of it, has to be one of the top 2 or 3 Vol MEN'S basketball results ever.

Tennessee has advanced beyond the Sweet 16 only once in their men's basketball history.
