Kudos to the Wichita State fans who attended the AAC tourney here in Memphis. You were loud, proud and showed up in big numbers, represented your school well, hats off to ya, hope you enjoyed your stay.

Was it your phone that autocorrected Wichita to Hitachi?

Really enjoyed Memphis. Beale Street is such a cool area. The National Civil Rights Museum is incredible, I could spend all day in there and I think I’d still miss some stuff. The Pyramid > the Arch
Mentioned it in a throwaway post in another topic but Memphis fans are the nicest fan base I have ever come across by far and I have interacted with dozens of fanbases across NCAA tournaments and road games. I wasn’t expecting that with all you internet dillholes. My one disappointment is that I thought I was going to experience a peak FedExForum crowd. I’ve been to a few soldout arenas and always like to compare them. Based on the noise with the attendance yesterday I could see FEF being a really loud and crazy venue when packed. Wish I could have seen it.

Never ever base an impression of a school's fan base on message board idiots. These places bring out the crazies, who likely wouldn't act that way face to face.
FEF is unbelievable when packed. Too loud to hear anything. Great atmosphere. And Memphis has so much to see and do, and so many great places to eat.

I can't find any. It's a conference controlled thing, not Memphis.

yep, oddly enough some of the nicest fans I've met where UT fans in Knoxville...very nice, courteous, and had nothing but good things to say about Memphis/DeAngelo (this was his last season at Memphis)
UT fans in Memphis suck though lol

Yeah, unfortunately, like I said on our game thread, Memphis doesn't own all the tickets. Near the end of the Mem/Houston game, the fans from Wichita St and Cincy starting rolling in and it started filling up nicely.

Great to be in this conference. Glad we represented well. Thanks.
Wish I could've made it out there this year honestly.

Glad to be back in a conference with the Shockers.
Some of us are old enough to remember the MVC days with WSU, Bradley, Drake, Cincy, St Louis, Louisville, etc, etc, etc. A BB road trip to any 2 of WSU/Drake/Bradley was almost impossible to come back unscathed.
