UC actually went to the basket more than usual in the Houston game and depended less on jump shooting.

Yup. And as Houston fell behind they started trying to take early forced jumpers and threes rather then try to get a good shot by running offense. Might have been a good learning experience for Houston as they seem to have lost their composure a bit from behind behind late.

Seth Davis has Purdue in his final 4. I saw that and almost spit my beer out last night. That would surprise me.

Eh, to my eyes they were no different than the shots they took against us on our senior night. The difference was the results: one night they were falling, the other one they weren't. Maybe it was tired legs, maybe it was random chance - I'm guessing it was a combo.

Bottom line is to beat Tennessee UC would need to play great defense AND hope Tennessee has an off shooting night. However, that's often a formula for an upset. Make better teams beat you by hitting jump shots.

ESPN has a couple of videos with Lunardi. He says we handle Iowa pretty easily and then upset Tennessee to make Sweet 16. Has us getting beat by Purdue in Louisville.

Possible. I had us in the E8 last year and we see how that worked out.

I saw that video clip of Lunardi who said UC was "underseeded." I thought, yeah you had us at #7 in your Bracketology for the last several weeks jackazz.

I understand where you're coming from but Lunardi's job is to try and predict what he thinks the committee will do regarding the bracket, not what he personally thinks should happen.

His final bracket wouldn't have included our win vs. Houston. He may have felt we deserved to be bumped up after that game; it was the best win on our resume.
