I want to legitimately compliment the Hilltoppers on their team. They're a good team that I did NOT want to see in this game. I happy we came out with the win, knowing that WKU could have won it had some things gone the other way. This squad has a TON of talent and has a bright future. A good representative for this conference.

They paid for him and clearly can afford do that. I do not see one bit wrong with that especially when all BS P5 teams have been doing that for a while and is not illegal to do so. Its hard enough for a mid major to survive in this landscape and you are saying we should all be saints? If ODU can afford it want us to do get us good players legally by any means possible. Now Stansbury being a bad coach i get that he isn't good with X's and O's.

FWIW, my intentions have always been good. I saw someone attacking you guys with a thread and I wanted to counter it with my own positive take on things. Admittedly the UTSA thread worked out a bit better. I only do this sort of thing when I have a lot of respect for the team that we beat.

That and Stith actually has a resume to support being a coach. But it's whatever, I don't mind the move by WKU and applauded them in the off-season.

We paid his guardian within the rules. I am 100% okay with that. Hell, we might even get a second year of Bassey. I am sure his guardian enjoys the paycheck and his draft prospects are all over the place. Supposedly he is still attending classes and likes college life. I'd say it is a 80/20 chance of go vs. stay.

Bassey aside, who do you lose next year?
