If it's gonna be at a home team arena then we should just play all the games at the higher seed.

I like this idea the best. Plus, it gets bonus points for keeping Fever stirred up.

RE: AAC Conference Basketball Tournament Location
DFW is an ideal central, neutral location for the western half of the league. If something likewise for the eastern half could be established, and then both locations alternate from year to year, that would be a fairly equitable solution. Unfortunately, there's not an obvious spot like that for the eastern half of the league, because it is so much more geographically spread out than the western half.

I know the peeps on the eastern half feel like the league is kind of geographically ridiculous, but that's not at all the case out west.

Without looking it up, what about Nashville? Maybe flip between DFW and Nashville?

Assuming only 1 big Arena there?

I've never been

Edit: Vanderbilt is 2 miles from Bridgestone arena. Holds 14k. I think that could create a fun atmosphere for basketball fans and might be able to draw in some non AAC fans too

I'm ok with Cincinnati as long as we play on Xavier's court.

The AAC desperately needs money so the location goes to the highest bidder.

Something along these lines is what I generally had in mind.

Montreal, let's get international. And students would show up because weed is legal in Canada now.

I think that's how it wound up in Fort Worth.

Show me the receipts. I said I prefer higher seed home courts over a single home court, but my top preference is to park this thing at a neutral site (like we're doing in Fort Worth).

I could go for that until the semis then go to a neutral location.

You'd have to spread out the games all week to allow for the travel.

RE: AAC Conference Basketball Tournament Location
The thing with Vegas is that the flights there are dirt cheap. It would cost less to fly there then it would to fly/drive most other places.
also, there are many cheap hotels/motels/airbnbs around and when your team loses you can cry and waste your money away at one of the many thousands gambling machines available.

Also, wichita is a good place. They are the canadians of the NCAAM. they'll probably show up to cheer the other team also so they won't feel bad. no more empty seats in our conference tournament or eye sores like what im looking at right now in this houston/memphis game.
