I just bought my tickets!

My flight takes off 9 minutes before takeoff. Luckily its slated to be a 777 with satellite wifi, so theres a chance stadium streaming will work.

There is a get together at 3 pm across the street from the arena at City Works. Owl Club and Athletic Dept have been buying drinks and snacks before each game.

To give you some insight on MTSU, they'll start a line-up of 6-0 SR Alex Johnson (15 PPG), 5-8 SR A'Queen Hayes (15.7 PPG, had 34 in CUSA semis), 5-4 FR Taylor Sutton (10.8 PPG - CUSA freshman of year); 6-1 SO Anna Jones (6.6 PPG); and 5-10 SR Jess Louro (4.7 PPG; is wearing a face mask so she must have suffered some sort of injury late in the year). They do have two 6-0 posts off the bench who have played decent minutes, but otherwise their bench doesn't contribute much.

I'd say the keys are three-fold. One, handle their pressure. Two, Mulkey has to have a big game - both keeping Johnson in check and also providing the inside presence to keep Hayes mostly shooting outside shots. And three, we need Iademarco to contribute some offense after getting shut out yesterday. I think Rice's defense is so much superior to UAB that some of the offense I saw yesterday from MTSU wouldn't work against Rice. I like Rice's chances if those three things happen. I also don't know if they have anyone who can stop Ogwumike.
