Jarron 40 minutes tonight. Not going to be heartbroken if we lose tomorrow since going to the finals would probably mean 110+ minutes for him this weekend.

They did what they needed to do. I'd like to see them make some headway in fixing the defense.

SMU D bad, O good. This went as expected I would say. I wouldn't put too much stock in our improved offense against these guys. I know we should root for Wichita, but I want Temple again since we only got them once this year and we have years of payback to give given they seem to beat us in football and hoops every year.

From the standpoint of covering insanely proficient shooters, I completely agree. But, as far as a team playing with physicality and depth, I think WSU will definitely be the tougher test. They'll definitely wear us down more than SMU did.

Agreed. When we get to the dance, the officials will have a much higher competence level than the crap we get every game. We won't see them swallowing whistles every time the "defense" body-slams him every time he touches the ball.

Wichita alternates three centers; it will be interesting to see if Nsoseme plays some today. Never saw the floor yesterday; he averaged about 10 minutes per game against Shockers in previous two games this year. Diarra matched up better to give up some minutes against the smaller and quicker SMU players. However if Eliel doesn't see the floor today against the more physical Wichita front line it must be an injury concern.

I think he is banged up. He only played 1 minute in the Houston game, and he hasn't been crashing the boards with his normal wreckless abandon the last few weeks.

One thing I will have to hand to their conference, I flipped over to watch the last few minutes of their game and MSG was PACKED and the atmosphere was electric. And that was just a semi final game between 2 teams that aren't located in that city. We get FedEx forum with their non functioning sub horn and scoreboard.
