If cooper is in the starting lineup again this year, I will do something irrational.

And Wallner better plan on coming back for his senior year. The bottom has fallen out of his stock.

If Wallner’s goal is to lose a lot of money while not getting better, I think coming back for his senior year is probably the right idea.

They are actually WORSE than singles because a) it pizzes the pitcher off much worse than a hit, and usually gets him off his game and b) many times a base runner or hitter advances much further than he would have with a friggin' single!

It's always LOSING teams that say "IF not for those errors we woulda/shoulda/coulda won".......that's great......but the reason you usually ARE a bad team is because YOU MAKE DUMBAZZ errors, and the other team doesn't, ya mo-rons! 04-cheers

There was one game for sure that a Cooper error cost us a game. It may have been the MSU game. Take that away and it changes the entire outlook of the season. Would be nice if MSU's only 2 losses on the season were to USM. The little week-day losses would more easily be over-looked by the pollsters too when you take 2/3 from from MSU on the road.

Certainly Cooper isn't the only prob with this team. But considering all the problems, it makes starting him even more damaging. Def isn't helping the team.

there's an immeasurable in baseball when it comes to ineptitude....

if you've ever been in the dugout, on the mound or behind the plate, you know what that means...

it plays on the psyche....

he's our fk'n SS for cryin' out loud.....that position is kinda important...

it falls under the, "jfc, wtf are you thinking Berry!"

Did you even watch the game last night? That was his best game all year.

Ha, yeah. I expected to win this series, just like every conference series, despite our struggles.

I don't know if I necessarily expected to win the series going in...but thought there was little to no chance of getting swept.

After remembering the fact that we are playing on a field with high school dimensions, especially to right field, I actually do expect us to win the series.

Every time we play there, I'm shocked at how small it is.

The Pete is considered a hitter's park because of the 365 alleys--even though it goes long (340) down the lines and 400 to CF with a big wall.

Well, "The Love Shack" goes 340 (!!) to the RC alley, 325 down the RF line, and just 385 to center.

No excuse for us not putting 7-8 out of the park this weekend

La tech pitcher (Robbins) has an ERA of over 8.00.....he could either lower it a lot or get shelled...we shall see

edit: and he struck out Slater and Hoard to end the top o' first

We tagged him last year when he started. Made it 3 innings. I believe we took him deep a few times.

Cox and Duggan are talking about trains at Ruston and are turning it into a broader conversation about transportation near C-USA ballparks. Shoot this into my veins.
