Wow I agree with MTSU fan, this after a La. Tech fan basically said west teams do not need east teams...I can see why western teams want to leave though, they might have a chance to win in basketball....

Where would y'all like to see the tournament take place? Atlanta? I'm trying to think of a good location that is accessible for all fans. There is no way in hell I'm going to Frisco.

There is so much wrong with this post, that I dont know where to start. I think you meant to say 5 of the 8 teams from the quarterfinals are east of the Mississippi river.

Please just hold it somewhere that isn't in the middle of nowhere. Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, and (selfishly) Birmingham I'd be a fan of. I can't take time off from work this time of year, and something a ~3 hour drive for me would at least encourage me going to the championship.

Men: ODU, WKU, USM, UAB
Women: Rice, UAB, MTSU, WKU

And going back to last year (2018)
Men: Marshall, USM, ODU, WKU
Women: UAB, Rice, North Texas, WKU

It's rather disingenuous to tag this as and east/west thing. Seems like the semi-finalists are pretty much them middle of the conference. WKU, USM, UAB, UAB (again), MTSU, and WKU (again) pretty much define the center of the conference. With ODU the outlier east and Rice the outlier west.

Honestly, with the footprint of this conference, theres not really a convenient location for all fans, IMO.

Frisco may be far from you but it isn't "the middle of nowhere".

Other locations-- downtown convention center, Curb Event Center (Belmont), Allen Arena (Lipscomb), Vandy (too big)

Could the CUSA tourney take place a week prior to the $EC coming in ? Nashville's Bridgestone Arena (affectionately known as the Tire Barn) has locked up the $EC until 2035: https://www.tennessean.com/story/sports/...984534002/

We could play week before we do now if need be and play at Bridgestone, wouldn't be an issue if only 4 teams converge to Nashville and higher seeds host earlier in week...maybe we get on ESPN if we do that.....
