Sour grapes USM...
I was as pissed and angry as I've ever been. It's hard seeing your team lose, especially one with Elmore and Burks on it, knowing thats the last meaningful game they will ever play.

That said, as good a ball game as you're gonna see and I apologize for my rampage on the refs. I still think we had garbage refs, but you won the game fair and square. Either team beats anyone else last night. I am rooting for you to play like that 2 more times and take wku and their mercenaries to the woodshed.

Thanks. It was a great offensive game to watch. I never mentioned to my son who was watching with me anything about the refs and it was a back and forth game til the end. We all that love our teams react in different ways during the games. I was told on another board that I knew nothing about basketball, that I was a grandpa, that A guy wish he never knew a guy like me as a USM fan. You have to take this with a grain of salt, as the name callers love my team also. Once again, great offensive game, and rebounding and our last two minute defensive effort probably won the game.

Yeah, grandpa, you kept spouting off about USM not playing defense. Maybe you could give Elmore and company a little credit for having a great offense, and shooting 3's like NBA players. We guarded them. They worked their offense and found an open guy sometimes. Other times, they shot well contested 3's and buried them.
But with you, it's always "We won't guard anybody". Because you are stuck in 1935-era basketball where an open shooter means no defense. D'antoni is a masterful offensive coach, Marshall is loaded with excellent shooters and guys who have spacing down to a science, and USM played their asses off on defense.
You always accentuate the negative during game threads, and it makes me want to stick forks in my eyeballs.
I respect you and appreciate you for your support of Southern Miss.
I just don't like your negativity.

Lol...Noodles there is no one worse that you with negativity in a game, but I never respond because you are a USM fan. Your problem is that you get personal and begin name calling. And yes, it is a pot calling the kettle black situation bigtime. You only seem to mention what you don’t agree with, and fail to mention what good things whomever you have attacked has mentioned or said. No problem, I am a proud Grandpa that still love when defense is played in whatever sport I am watching. It is a lost art in today’s game.

Marshall played a superb offensive basketball game last night. That cannot be questioned.
THEY LOST.
But we didn't play defense.
Can one of you young people post the Taylor Swift .gif meme thingy for me?
LOL.

Yes, we did win, and that is what matters. We did play defense finally in the last two minutes of the game. That and rebounding is what won the game.
