Bryant is astonishing. Except at the foul line.
We lucked out again.

My heart just can't take ODU games this year but I'll come back tomorrow night! UAB played their hearts out. Some how the other team plays better and we win two days in a row. Let's do it one more time and win it all! Go Monarchs!

The irony of ODU winning tight games by making FTs and having the other team miss.

Good Game Blazers . If it weren't for that last minute run by ODU you guys would've punched your ticket.

He missed a TON of free throws. You can't be getting to the line that much and miss that many foul shots.

He had been good at the line the whole tournament. So had most of the team. They were missing the free throws short. Usually that is a sign that your tired and have heavy arms. Cant fault them for that. Tough gauntlet of teams they tried to go through with the most physical team today. Proud of how they played. Good game ODU.

Is there any way CUSA gets two bids if Western Kentucky wins tomorrow, or would that just be wishful thinking?
Before the WKU-USM game today, the two hosts of the highlight show mentioned twice that CUSA is a "one-bid league." It's as if they were in the pockets of the selection committee. That kind of rhetoric shouldn't be permitted by a media partner. It honestly ran me hot. What the hell is that about? They should be doing all they can to promote us, not knock us down.

A tip of the cap to UAB and Southern Mississippi today for the way they competed.
The UAB game could easily have gone the other way but for a few more made free throws, or had they connected on the last second pass and gotten the layup to send the game to OT.
Southern Mississippi in my mind overachieved as much as, or more than, any other team in the conference this season. They had very little in the way of size, and even less in the way of depth and Doc got them very close to making the championship game.
I've said all year long that Western was going to put it together before the year ended and when they did they would be the favorite to win it all even though they started the conference season a little bit slow. Not looking forward to ODU having to face them again tomorrow night. Our team is offensively challenged, but they at least come to do battle. Good luck going forward to WKU if they should prevail tomorrow. ODU will at least have a place in the NIT to fall back on if that should happen.

We really don't have any teams close to an at large. It's not an insult to state a fact. Now last year we had a real gripe as a conference.

+1. I guess I just don't understand why they would be so willing to make news of it. They're our media partner. I would expect something like that from ESPN, but even they shouldn't be speculating about who's in or out. Just frustrated.

No way. We have no argument after losing the last 2 games of the regular season. Too many bad losses, crapped the bad in our preseason tournament, weak SOS, and we aren't playing well, despite the 2 good December OOC.

Two good games today. So far the tourney hasn’t disappointed in competitiveness.

No insult. We recognize we just don't have the resume and aren't playing well right now. We had some stretches throughout the year when I thought we may be good enough, but a bad November, too much inconsistency and barely top 100 in NET... Everytime I get irritated about it, I go to YouTube and watch a video of us from 10 years ago and realize we really aren't anywhere close to an at large team as those teams, which were 8/9 seeds, were head and shoulders better at every position except maybe PG, better coached, and the PG's role was really just to manage the game and limit TOs anyway. We are what we are: a low mid-major fighting for a 13 or 14 seed. Hope we win and then catch lightning in a bottle, but if not, it's probably a road game against a team like Colorado or Georgetown in the NIT.

Pulling for ODU tomorrow but honestly I believe WKU has the better chance of pulling an upset in the NCAA Tournament. ODU is the more consistent and better coached team IMO, but WKU has the most upside when they play to their full potential. If tomorrows game continues the trend of this tournament, it should be a good one.

Where you been? They have been saying that for awhile even last year, labeling us a one bid league or normally a one bid league...
