Have to wonder how much rope they are giving Haase with these .500 seasons.

Been wondering that as well. Havent seen anything reported that he has any kind of heat on him, which is partially because or the culture at Stanford and in the Bay area, but I imagine if he has another mediocre season like this next year there will be.

Haase is now 48-49 after three seasons at Stanford.

He was the same average coach at UAB, it is just that nobody noticed.

I’ll say it again...I still can’t believe Stanford hired Haase

It didn’t make a ton of sense at the time. Haase was only mildly successful at UAB. I’m sure they wish they went in a different direction at this point in time.

I think he has mostly gotten a pass this year for Reid Travis leaving. But the state of the PAC-12 this season is dreadful, and even then he could only manage an 8-10 conference record.

Haase was and is a mediocre coach, which is better than what we have now, and it was a weird hire for them. At a big school like Stanford, I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't fired after this season.

This years team would wax last year's team which was still comprised of Haase's core players.

Robert Brown was the reason Haase was hired at Stanford.
