I would take Terry Mohajir in a split second for Missouri State.
Good. He is yours. Hope all your coaches are great so he can't hire one. Of course he will build you a ton of athletic buildings. So he is not all bad. Like most ADs they have a shelf life. After awhile they start to smell.

Why anyone would hate this hire is beyond me. He was 63-23 at Central Arkansas, 16-0 at home his last year there with wins over Indiana and Missouri. He trans. them from DII to DI and won the Southland in 3 years.
He was 71-85 at Marshall but the record is deceiving. Marshall's HC at the time Royce Chadwick had not had a winning season in 5 years and had mentally checked out 3 years prior to that. It took 2 years of recruiting and getting the roster cleaned up and his recruits in. The next 3 years he took Marshall to 2 WBIs and the WNIT.
Two of his recruits just finished their senior season, Shayna Gore was a Gatorade All-American coming out of HS and finished her career in 3rd in scoring in Marshall history with 2,089 points and #1 in assists with 801. Taylor Porter who we only had 3 years (Freshman year Murray State) finished 3 years 7th in scoring with 1,821 points.
The guy can flat out recruit and coach. I would have done almost anything if he was still in Huntington roaming the sidelines.
You have to understand our fan dynamic is very different. Much of our alum base is against ever hiring someone from Arkansas. Too many examples at the state level of that failing
You’ve sampled the entire alum base? Or are you basing that off of a few alums on Twitter and message boards?
If you did sample the entire alum base, kudos to you for devoting countless hours.
It's a small group of online fans who are working each other up in a frenzy. Most AState fans don't give a rats ass what happens to women's hoops as long as it isn't pulling money away from football or men's hoops or it is highly successful.
I don't care for the hire because hiring young and on the rise has been our "thing".
Our online fan base has checked out. I spent over two decades trying to build the online presence and it's gone so knee jerk irrational I despise it.

After a while fans get bored and create drama to alleviate it.
