Speaking of NYC, I went to a retaurant in Manhatten last week and ordered a baked potato with butter and bacon. They told me they don't serve bacon/pork there because Muslims don't eat it.
I'm from NYC but was speechless at that one.

If the owners were Muslim/whatever, it's their right to make that choice... heck, if they're merely in a muslim neighborhood (not that Manhattan is) then that's a reasonable business decision.

You can leave if you really want bacon on that potato... and if that were the meal, I'd understand it... but I wouldn't over-react.
