While it would have been tremendous to see the Zips lose at home to pitiful Miami last night, I think they have a more than reasonable chance to move Buffalo out of the way for us. It isn’t a great chance, but I think they have a legitimate chance to catch the Bulls napping Thursday. When they hit 3s and defend, they can play with anybody.

In our regular-season loss at CMU, we had one of our worst shooting nights and still only lost by 6. I believe we were 1 for 17 from 3. I just can't see that happening twice. With or without JW I like our chances to win on Thursday.

Any Jim Joyce, anything is possible, but Buffalo will win by double-digits against UA.

And Saul Philips at OU is OUT.

He went 0-5 in the MAC Center.

I do not disagree that Akron is capable of beating Buffalo. Maybe even more capable then Toledo. But, my gut tells me that the University at Buffalo Bulls will be 100% locked in to knocking off all comers this weekend. If that is true, and you add it to the talent advantage they have over conference foes...look out.

Akron has not shot well or played particularly well away from home all year, and I wouldn't expect that to change in the open space that is the Q.

fallsdog, I agree 100%. I expect SUNY at Buffalo to ne locked in and focused. I'd be stunned if they didn't win. It would take an opponent that shoots the lights out from the opening team to the final buzzer.

I do not recognize this crew. Are they regular MAC officials? Of course we are not in this game and I usually do not complain very much about officiating, but this is ridiculous.
