What a rotten TV deal the CAA has...

It seems like almost every other conference tournament is easily found on ESPN or ESPN+... even much lesser conferences. What a shame for the CAA

A good question would be whether the people running the show have a clue as to how to make such a change happen. When the CAA fire was white hot a little more than a decade ago the then-leadership sure didn't, and "Joey D" has so far demonstrated less imagination than Tom Yeager.

Its not changing for awhile. CBS sports network has it until 2021.

NE up by 2 at half. Will be very interesting to see how this game is officiated 2nd half

Actually, a really bad UNCW squad, a subpar William and Mary squad and less than great CofC squad created this. Sad that not a single southern school or either of the longest standing members couldn't make it. Blaming the CAA...really?

William and Mary as a 4th seed had the 2nd largest fan base at the tournament on sunday.

Speaking of blaming the CAA, I remember going to the CAA Championship game in Charleston in 2017. The game was UNCW vs Charleston, so the crowd was as good as it was going to get. But their were still a lot of empty seats, both in the lower and upper tiers.

I distinctly remember thinking (and verbalizing) that - given the fact that this was the CAA's once-a-year chance to display itself to a real national audience - that if I were Commissioner I would have directed the ushers to invite folks sitting upstairs to come down and fill empty seats in the lower bowl in order to make TV shots look as good as possible.

Obviously that didn't happen.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, creative "JoeyD" does to make the crowd look bigger tonight...

Nope, there were plenty of seats around where we were!

In fact, they did their best to ensure the opposite. I can’t imagine they’ll have more than 250 fans in there tonight.
