Exclamation Spring Scouting Reports.
So does anyone have anything to report from spring practice?

From Georgia Southern:

1. Athleticism at linebacker should be greatly improved this year and won't go down at the other defensive positions. The big question mark is going to be safety and the experience we lost in the two starters.

2. The main question mark on offense is losing a couple of offensive linemen, though we're hopeful one of the starters that missed all season last will come back. Our Oklahoma State transfer running back looks good, but I don't know if he'll be cleared to play (does anyone know if there is a deadline for waivers to be approved?)

3. Situation at backup QB seems to be much improved. Werts should still win the job but we're not at a place where we don't know if we could win a single game without him.

Also had a great crowd for the spring game. I'd guestimate around 5k

Seems like an early spring game.

Ours is still more than a month away.

One of the determining factors was trying to beat the late March-April Monsoon season. This is the first time we’ve tried an early spring schedule and I think it worked for the most part
