Agreed. It looks like a real basketball stadium.

Great W, domination from the start.

Is Key officially out rest of the season? That hurts with depth quite a bit for the rest of the week, 5 - 10 more minutes Bradley/James have to play, as well as less fouls to give.

Plays no D doesn’t move his feet his first reaction is to grab and hold. If he could just play a little D he could help this team on the offensive end.

Noah playing really well right now. Key has not played well all year. So I am not sure what depth was hurt.

We have a really stupid fanbase. Levi fouls out for his last game at the Convo after playing pretty darn well. I forget where he ranks in NIU scoring all time but its notable. The guy does not miss games. Only a few fans in crowd even stand for him as he goes off court last time. If this was Ball State, Akron, Toledo, Kent State, Ohio, he gets a full fledged standing ovation. Ridiculous. I also have to say, Ohio basketball fans are annoying as hell

Ha, my bad, I quickly read the earlier comment as "out for the season" instead of "out of the rotation", and I didn't see him much, so thought he may have been hurt.

I just don’t think you should have rotations that big anyways. Honestly, unless they’re in foul trouble German, Thorpe, Bradley, and James should all be playing 35+ a game (if not more) during the tournament. You really only need one backup big. There’s really no reason to be playing more than 7-8 guys right now. The starting 5, Hankerson, and McCarty is really all you need right now.

He really ran the offense but could only drive. The outside shot was missing (like the rest of Ohio's team). I think I counted him passing about 40 times before he took his first shot.

MD what did the Ohio fans say? I was on the other end of the Convo and could not hear them. They're probably forever jealous because of all NIU has done to keep Frank Solich from winning the MAC.

mbb vs Ohio
NIU made wide open 3s all night. Defense was strong but Ohio just choked early in the game close to the rim.

James had major foul trouble but had several dunks and scores at rim as did McCarty.

NIU hit their floaters in the lane and baseline. Really weren't impacted by Ohio's D much.

Solid win. 1st half was brilliant.

Monty was calling, demanding really, for German to run certain plays. German played in control most of the night but I sensed he wasn't thrilled with Monty. Monty was slowing down the offense, milking the clock, giving Ohio no chance to win and German didn't look happy. 1 time Monty called the play and German saw the lane open, drove and easily scored. I think German could have done this all second half.

They had 1 big loudmouth who was showing his kid or nephew how to be a jerk fan. He succeeded.

Most Ohio fans were fine.
