Poor poor B1G hockey fans in this state, both the Wolverines and Spartans are done for the year!

Lake State is having their best season in 20 years. Senior Diego Cuglietta is also the leading goal scorer in the nation. They go to Minnesota State this weekend while Northern goes to BG. Maybe after next weekend we can have three Michigan (and non- B1G) schools remaining.

Would really prefer Minn. St. to win WCHA - better for WMU, but Western needs to worry about themselves.

LSSU is a fun story but they are the textbook example of the WCHA not giving you enough points over the long haul compared to other leagues.

Hopefully both MSU and UM's basketball teams will have an early exit from the NCAA tournament, too.

Any Spartan or Wolverine loss - in anything - is a Bronco win.
