I know NIU beat Buffalo a few times, but this is biggest win in Montgomery era in my view

I can agree with this. Any win when you are the worse seed in the conference tournament is pretty special.

Best basketball feeling in nearly 2 decades. It also brought out the Rockets' tears....what a great night.

Rest up Huskies.. big, big game tomorrow.

RE: 2019 MAC Tourney Projections
Championship odds (probability of occurrence)
#1 Buffalo vs #3 Bowling Green 56%
#1 Buffalo vs #7 Northern Illinois 35%
#5 Central Michigan vs #3 Bowling Green 6%
#5 Central Michigan vs #7 Northern Illinois 4%

39% chance NIU is playing for a MAC championship
approximately 3% chance NIU wins the whole thing.

Mock lines I have for tonight would be Huskies 2.5 dogs vs BGSU and CMU 14 point dogs vs Buffalo

Right now if it was UB and NIU played today, I'd have Buffalo as 16.5 favorites
A NIU vs CMU championship game Id have the Chips favored by 2.
All I can say is FIRE UP CHIPS!

For those that do:

Buffalo -10 tonight.

Was hoping it’d be 6-7. Not sure I’d lay the 10. 3 games in 3 days everybody’s gonna start to feel it.

Fixed.

That's been the case for the last few seasons and won't be changing. Top to bottom, there's no comparison.

The current Missouri Valley = the Horizon League.

Losing Wichita State and Creighton hurt the MVC very badly.

That was its only saving grace for the last few seasons, having a VERY top heavy team pulling up all the others. Once those two left, they became the Horizon. Loyola had its magical season to extend the illusion for that one season, but the metrics were/are already there.

The Horizon Valley.

2019 NCAA Tournament Seeding
06 - Buffalo (MAC)

15 - Bradley (Horizon Valley)
14 - Northern Kentucky (Horizon League)
