A few years ago I found out by accident that Flying Dog's Jalepeno White Ale goes really well with Cheese-It crackers. There is a beer for every occasion and any pairing.

Cheeseburger and PBR. Really.

This guy gets it

I like some cheap domestic beers... but PBR specifically tastes like malt liquor to me.

It's a very sweet beer for it's style. Probably due to a healthy amount of corn in the grain bill. Goes down great with a burger, hot and greasy off the grill.

RE: Beer Thread
I like the idea of malt liquor, in that a bit of cheap intoxicant is great to wash down a rough work week. But there's nothing to be learned from it. You get the barely-there malt flavor, no hops, and you often get a bit of that alcohol in the nose and the finish. There have been some craft takes on the style (Founders DKML being a malt liquor with all dials turned to 11) I haven't found any to be particularly insightful. The six pack bottles of Mickey's (mini barrels) are iconic though and they need to hang on to that trademark for as long as they can.
