Overall, the team has improved defensively as of late, but it hasn't shown up yet with wins due to a stagnant offense. If the Hawks play team ball on both ends, they should have a real shot. That will require them to trust their ball/player movement on offense and not slowing down/stop passing/moving that leads to a late post. Wasted dribbles or what I call "pocket dribbles" won't cut it. Move the ball and move people.

Elon has made 325, they're 14 behind the CAA record, and they can't break or tie the record if they make fewer than 14 and lose. The CAA record of 339 is by VCU in 2010-2011, when they played 40 games including 6 in the NCAA Tournament.

Toews's next assist will tie Jose Juan Barea for third in CAA history, and Barea has the most in a season since the northern teams joined. Toews is 8 behind Curtis McCants and and Doug Wojcik, who are tied for first. Wojcik got to pass to David Robinson that season, when Robinson scored a CAA record 903. That's another record that could be broken as Wright-Foreman has 831.

I found 5 rankings that all think you're better than Elon. The Sagarin thinks you're better than 5 seed Delaware.

Spread is still 2.5 but the over/under has edged up to 151.5.

I'd call it a bit of a rock fight except both teams are shooting well. Towson is at .542 while JMU is .483, and 4-9 (.444) from 3.

Turnovers are what's causing the contest to be a bit ugly: 10 for Towson and 7 for JMU.

70-66 Towson with under 3 minutes left in the contest.

73-71 Towson. JMU ball with 14 seconds left.
