A couple of random notes. First, the sidearm stats app keeps track of pitch counts. I don't know if that will last, or if it's just a change in philosophy at the top. Secondly, the OU closer (Jason Ruffcorn) is the son of a former Baylor pitcher (Scott Ruffcorn) who pitched in the majors for a few years, and his uncle Kevin was a basketball lettermen in the mid-80's for Rice. Jason bears a resemblance to his uncle although he's not as tall (6-2).
