okay JMU got some CAA basketball awards last night down in Charleston, so let's go kick some butt! Those games we lost by 5 or less, it's our turn this time to win!

Congrats to Deshon Parker, CAA All-Rookie Team...Stuckey Mosley (not Mosely or Moseley), 2nd team All-CAA...and, Matt Lewis, 3rd team All-CAA.

Hopefully these and the other guys can mold things together for some fun down on the coast this weekend.

Not a "team" for it, but if there was I'd guess Dwight Wilson would make the All-Improved team.

congrats to those guys for the individual awards. I especially like watching Stuckey play with the ball in his hands and leveraging his hard left hand dribble drive for scoring & assists. IMO, he wasn't given that role nearly enough in his 2 year career.

The awards just confirm for JMU that the whole is less than the sum of its parts. The Dukes should not have finished one game above last place in the CAA and the voters (Coaches and Media) see talent that is not meeting its potential as a team. Perhaps even thinking, Why is that team losing so often?

Even though Elon swept UNCW this season and enters the CAAT on a hot streak, the Phoenix are getting 2.5 points from the last-place Seahawks. O/U = 151.5

If anyone is going to be in Charleston for the basketball game, Park Circle (which is near the Coliseum) is having it's St Patricks day parade/festival. I highly suggest going!

ESPN Gamecast gives Towson a 55.4% chance to win.

Good luck to the Dukes today. Hopefully we'll see the team who was on the verge of an outstanding February before a pathetic home finish a week ago.

Even if they lose by 30 we'll still see Rowe standing on the sidelines in a stupor next season. Win or lose it doesn't matter what they do today. Another meh season of JMU men's basketball.
