I can tell you this w/o reserve.....Mr. Grubbs is a good soul that understands sales presentation when required....
he's the guy responsible for funding/reinstating the pep band....
he's also the guy that understands Doc's approach to corching....
I know I love his laid back approach.....I hope he retires in the 'burg as future recruits 'buy' into his 'style'....

RE: mens basketball cusa tournament
ive no problem with him dressing down. funny comment by the ref.
“We noticed it after the UTEP game. A ref asked me ‘Who dressed Doc tonight?’ so that’s how I noticed it and ever since he’s been wearing the t-shirts with the slacks,” Griffin said. “I think it’s because of the seniors. He trusts the seniors. That’s what I think it is. All of us play so there isn’t really much that he can really say on the court because we’ve got four guys who could basically coach on the court.”
then he says that they essentially coach themselves on the court. not sure how much truth is in that. even if quite a bit, they are following what Doc set out for them id imagine.

All that means is Coach doesnt need to instruct them during the game. They know what to do and they instruct and make sets on their own.
