Bradley has changed something in the last few games...and it makes a massive difference when he's assertive in the offense.

McCarty becoming a player, it's weird.

I'm guessing they'll actually go on sale tomorrow.

A week or so ago, I posted that I was trying to take family to last Saturday's game and there were virtually no tickets available. I called the ticket office and left a VM with the ticketing manager. I may have mentioned I was an alum in the message (I honestly don't recall). He called me back and I voiced my bewilderment about there being no tickets available for the game. I kinda played dumb a bit and asked if there was something I was doing wrong.

He got on his computer and asked how many I needed. I said 7 (which I know is a big number even in a situation like NIU basketball to get them all together in a row). He said, yeah...I got 7. do you want them?

I bought them and then went back on the site an hour or so later and there were like 800 seats available for purchase.

Like...did I really just remind him to release the tickets for sale on the Thursday before a Saturday game? No wonder they don't draw flies to their home games. They aren't making tickets available!!!

There is absolutely no question, when Bradley is active and aggressive, NIU is a 100 percent different basketball team.

You need to go to the ticket office in disguise, knock three times on the window, wait 10 minutes, and when someone peeks through the peek hole, you must softly say the password, tell them what you want, and then slip cash through the hole.

I think this may be the reason why you can’t get tickets: It’s all because of the alleged budget woes. Those tickets cost money to print. If they don’t have to print any tickets (and pay people to take them), just think of all the money they would save!

I have been going to games for the past 15 years. People do not have to worry about getting tickets beforehand. Just get the worst tickets and sit anywhere you want. Plenty of room.

Not true! Almost every game the group that I attend games with has to kick someone out of our season ticket seats. We have two rows together which is 16 seats.

No question the availability of tickets has been “odd” to say the least this year.
I like using the Ticketmaster site to be able to get best seats on the aisle. The Wednesday before the Saturday Toledo game I got like the last 2 together and then all that was shown was maybe 10 scattered seats.

That of course gives the impression that only upper bowl is available which of course is not reality.

This shouldn’t be that hard.

And it’s not ....as of right now there are approximately 500 seats to pick from on Ticketmaster.

Just proves what I said. People are going to ticket booth and sitting where they want. I am a season ticket holder and we have the same thing happen around our area too. I sent an e-mail this morning for Monday games and told them to e-mail tickets to me and charge me by my payment method on file at 8:15 a.m. I received the electronic tickets at 8:30 a.m.

Typically, there is no reason to do that. For one, they all cost the same 10 bucks. The other, the back row of the lower bowl is actually a really good place to sit.

Huskie87fan, that sounds great but not all fans have a printer and not all fans have a current payment method on file or even remember what card is on file

Same with me all the time. One time at a women’s game, there were two people in the Convo and the a’holes were in my seats. Could not believe that I had to kick them out.

You don't have to have a printer. If they email them to you and you have a smartphone (and at this point....who doesn't....03-wink. You just bring them up on there and they scan them at the door on your phone.

Easiest and most eco-friendly (and you don't waste ink and paper since each ticket, when printed takes up a page).

Just asking, but if there were only 2 people in the entire Convo, was it really 100% necessary to sit in your exact seats?

Yes, it was. I paid to sit in those seats. My tickets were for those seats. Why should I sit in someone else’s seats? Was it necessary for them to sit in my seats when they didn’t pay to sit in the reserved season ticket holder section?

I got help from Collin in getting my tickets for Monday. Yes, they were sent to my iPad which I then sent to my phone. Thanks Collin!

I agree with DogFan I am going to sit in my season ticket seats. When I advocated to buy tickets and sit anywhere, I thought people would have enough sense to move into empty seats once the game has started.
