I don’t disagree with the commentator but find it a little hypocritical when a grown man calls a college kid an idiot on national TV.

Not a horrible performance. Much closer than I expected. I think Minnie did a very good job inside the arc, something that bodes well for the tourney.

Had the audio muted for the last few minutes and turned off with about 45 secs left. What happened?

And I agree, regardless of what happened on the court (and announcers CAN'T know what happened immediately), it is totally inappropriate and childish to call a player an "idiot" on a broadcast.

There was some drama at the handshake line. The announcer called Thompson an idiot, the second announcer followed up with something along the lines of NBA hates that type of behavior. It was a little sad to watch/hear.

We finish 6th which is where I wanted to be to if we couldn't be #4. I like the draws better.

One could argue that the #5 seed is better as WMU a very poor revord.

I think our run would be Ohio, BG, and TOL before the finals.

Man, Toledo is OBSESSED with Thompson. Not just the message board fans, apparently. Toledo players clearly came into this game trying to get under his skin, and if Thompson moves a finger in the wrong direction, Toledo fans are ready to get all hot and pissed about it.

They think they know him better than we do, despite only watching him at most two or three times a year.

By the way, James is a biology major and has a 3.5 GPA. I'm certain he's more intelligent than the announcer.

Maybe they were shaving points in that game too.

Toledo is a combined 3-4 in football and basketball against us over the past two seasons.

I think their panties are in a bunch because their superiority complex is being challenged.
