RE: Kent State vs. Akron
To me, this year the distance between the #1 and #2 seeds in the MAC, and the #11 and #12 seeds, are both greater than the difference between #2 and #11.

RE: Kent State vs. Akron
I don't normally say nice things about Groce. A man who can easily be described as having the most punchable face in college basketball... But he should be commended for running across the court and grabbing his players when things got chippy. He got to them before they turned on one another. No Akron players were injured by other Akron players on Friday... So it was a good day.
Also, I thought Groce showed a lot of class walking back over and patting our players on the back after the game. Then again, he wouldn't have had to do that if he hadn't stormed off without shaking their hands to begin with... So I guess he broke even on class.

In his defense, you can’t shake someone’s hand if they are all over the court celebrating. I thought it was a decent move on his part to come back and congratulate the KSU players after they were done celebrating.

RE: Kent State vs. Akron
So where does that put us for 2020?
At guard - Williams and Williamson should be back - they'd be good to have; Roberts got good experience, hopefully he improves a bit; I'd expect 2019's Peterson in 2020. We also have the unknowns - Gholston, Kain Harris, and Troy Simons. Jeremy Hernandez also says he's a point guard, but I wouldn't expect to see much in 2020.
Inside, Hopefully Whittington is back; Hopefully Pippen is back; Duling should be back, but we didn't see much improvement in 2019 over 2018. I wouldn't expect much in Evan Bainbridge and Kalin Bennett as freshmen
So outside of Williams and Williamson (and probably Whittington), a whole lot of question marks. I'd expect at least 2 players to leave early, and hopefully Senderhoff finds another couple of JUCOs to step in.

Their freshman big might be drafted, too.

You're missing Rakym Felder. Former South Carolina PG.

Walker made first team all MAC and Roberts made the all freshman team. I feel like Williams got robbed. They found 20 players better than him and 5 defenders better than him?

I felt like Jalen Avery was robbed last year, as he was Kent's driving force at times, and should have been 3rd team or HM All MAC. This year, it seemed like Williams and Robert took over some of the things he did last year, and Avery's production was down a bit.
Rakym Felder is a question mark too - he was a freshmen at South Carolina 3 seasons ago - Fall of 2017, he was out of school, Spring of 2018 he was practicing at USC, but suspended. Fall of 2018, he was at New Mexico JC, I can't find that he played anywhere this spring.

Has he even been around?
