The frathouse in the movie was filmed in an old, historic pioneer house. At one time, it WAS a frat and then a medical office and then it fell into disrepair, and sadly, it was torn down. But there is plaque where it used to be. I was very disappointed when I went looking for it. But the Fishbowl is still there and was still part of the cafeteria when I was there a few years ago.

The U of O is a beautiful, green campus. Eugene is a wonderful place to be. And if you have never visited Portland, take this opportunity to do so. It is a place that feels very comfortable. It has numerous distinct, Midtownish neighborhoods, a pretty river and bridge, lots of breweries, great coffee, organic food, salmon, beautiful old hotels, and other stuff. It is very laid back and friendly. My son went to the U of O and is still in Eugene.

Ok, I'm now officially pumped about this game. Living 4.5 hours away, I have no excuse not to make it. Plus will be one of the first chances to see this amazing recruiting class play as one.
