Wonder if Sutton will run again. He had a slower than anticipated time in 40. The other thing that stinks is that the old staff is gone. Going forward will be good though. With Hammock having NFL experience, scouts will pay more attention to him if he says someone has NFL talent.

Agree on Corcoran. Is Embry going to be there? I don't know if he is a NFLer, but that play against Buffalo sealed the deal.

Embry is a Solid corner. Small is a good prospect too if he’s healthy again.

Has NIU released a list of NFL teams represented in attendance?

Kind of seems unfair to have it so soon after the combine. Isn't the pro day a second chance for combine participants? As well as an opportunity for those not invited?

Why would it be unfair? Lots of players don’t get a combine invite but still end up in the NFL. Combine participants get to participate if they feel they need to improve on their combine numbers but they don’t have to. The only thing Sutton might be tempted to do over is his 40 or Bench.

Nvm. I thought the dates were super close to each other. But that appears to be in line with what they did last year. I thought the pro day would be a little bit further from the combine, so players who did go to the combine could work on improving their numbers. But it looks like the combine ended on the 5th last year, with our pro day on the 8th. I was hoping to see Shawun Lurry have another go at being a pro. Guess he's moved on from football? Jordan Huff too....

There was a couple short video clips of the guys participating today. Looks like Max did some O line agility drills. There's a video of Corcoran bench pressing- I counted 23 reps and also heard someone yell at the end "23", so that's that. Pretty solid number for an edge rusher. other than that, would love to hear some other results....

DJ Brown got clocked at running a 4.47 and a 4.52 40 yard dash. not bad at all

There were 20 NFL Teams represented at Pro Day. That’s great exposure for our sleeper players who haven’t gotten any hype. I can see DJ Brown getting a good opportunity. His numbers would have been better if we had a decent quarterback.
