Has anyone looked at the schedule for MBB on the MAC site? If so, did anyone understand the post season stuff? It appears as though they have penciled in EMU playing for the national championship in Ypsilanti. I’m guessing that’ s kind of a long shot. Three of the Top Four seeds (but not the order) for the MAC tournament have been decided, is that correct? It’s very weird on that MAC site.

Buffalo is the 1 seed with one more win or one more Bg loss

1 more Toledo win secures either the 2 or 3 seed for Toledo. Which of those will depend on if/how many of their last 2 bg loses. Toledo holds the tie breaker if they have the same record.

Toledo can do no worse than the 4 seed.

Central and Kent are tied for 4 right now. Central holds the tie breaker and has the easier schedule remaining.

Why is it that teams like Detroit and EMU can't put fannies in seats? Oakland I believe at least averages over 4000/game.

Proximity to UM is a big reason for EMU, I suspect. Like BG, they are too close to a big brother to draw well.

Oakland's capacity is 4,000. It's a cool gym for basketball and a heck of a lot better than some of the ones in the MAC. Though I'd take Savage any day over it. Post-renovation Savage is perfect for college basketball.
