We have too many sports. It keeps us from being competitive. We're out of touch with other MAC schools. Blah, blah, blah and other nonsense. By the way, we won the Reese trophy for being the most successful men's MAC school. Then we dropped swimming and diving and wrestling. Anyone think we're going to win the Reese trophy this year?

Ever notice that they brag about football season ticket sales, but hide the actual number? It must be embarrassing.

They brag about what tickets are sold, that’s all that matters financially. Why didn’t they brag about ticket sales from Wrestling/Swimming? Just get over it.

The U should be honest about the numbers it presents instead of misleading people. If they say that season tickets went up 150%, for example, it's not very meaningful unless we know the raw number. By not telling us, it's apparent that they're hiding it.

There is no number more inflated than attendance for MAC football games.
Throughout the league attendance is routinely inflated by thousands.

I'm not bothered that we don't sell out Rynearson. Given the realities of the situation it's just not going to happen, at least not regularly. I think the best we can hope for is to string together a few winning seasons and shoot for 15,000 per game of actual attendance.
