McConnell stalls 128 Trump nominees
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articl...39637.html
Writer tells it like it is. Change the rules. Better yet, make them do what other Americans do-work 5 days a week-or 6, until you get the job done.
"The headline in the Washington Examiner last week was infuriating for conservatives: "McConnell blasts Democrats for stalling 128 Trump nominees."
But if you are a conservative, you would be wrong to be angry at those darn Democrats for acting like, well, Democrats. The problem isn't the Democrats; it is the haplessness of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who keeps trusting the opposition party to act like, well, Republicans...."

I think that these people that are nominated by Trump needs more scrutiny of their pasts. Trump nominated a lot of freeloaders who misused tax payers money for personal plane rides or are involved in lobbying for companies. Problem is, several had to pull out because of their past.

Keep 'em in session 7 days a week until you clear the backlog. McConnell has no cojones.
Can you picture Pelosi or Schumer being the kind of milquetoast wuss that McConnell has been? I can't. Same for Boehner and Ryan. And don't give me Merrick Garland. That was maybe the one time he has done anything, and he had the whole party behind him there.

Stop nominating criminals, and maybe Trump would have better luck.

Trump only appoints the best people. McConnell must be tortured.

If he was making them work weekends, this nonsense would go away real quick.
