Any connections to Sun Belt schools and the tornado that hit Alabama last night? NPR had a clip from the Troy NPR station this morning so it was close enough for that but from what I could tell it was around Auburn.

There was at least one (possibly two) tornadoes in Beauregard, AL, which is south of Auburn/Opelika (north of Montgomery). There was most likely a tornado in Washington County as well (the county to the north of Mobile County) but no deaths in that one that I’ve heard. They are investigating the damage to confirm whether or not it was a tornado, but in looking at the damage it appears to be. Mobile is good - just a thunderstorm and a lot of rain. We still got all of our Joe Cain Day Mardi Gras parades in.

So sorry to hear about damage and lives lost in Alabama. Hopefully you and yours came though this in good health.
