Toledo has put themselves in great position to get the #2 Seed in the MAC Tournament with two impressive road victories against Ball St and CMU. All they need now is to finish up with home wins against WMU and EMU and have BG lose one of their last 2 road games against Akron and Buffalo. With Akron fighting for top 8 finish and a home 1st round game, and Buffalo wanting to protect their nation leading home court winning streak, you would think the Falcons will drop at least one of those 2 games. If this happens, Toledo will go into the MAC Tournament with 5 straight victories, and not have to face Buffalo until the MAC Tournament Finals. But like they say, there are no guarantees in sports, and Toledo is going to have to bring their A Game to Cleveland for 3 straight nights to have that chance to cut down the nets and claim that elusive MAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Bid!

THANKS FOR POSTING!

It has certainly been an exciting season. I’m a season ticket holder and I’ve been going continuously since the ‘66-67 season either with season tickets in my dads name or in my name and I have enjoyed this season tremendously. It ranks in my top 3 simply due to the tough road wins and losses. It’s a well coached team with some t/o issues and mental lapses that surely cost us 2 to 3 games.... but hey! what team doesn’t experience that each season. A lot of talent has passed through UT and this team just clicks. Whatever happens in the next 3 to 11 games (eternal UT optimist) I will respect and remember this team with distinction. I think we have a decent shot at an NCAA bid with 25 wins but 26 would probably lock the deal. Certain bracketology sites also reflect this in probability ratings for UT. I like our chances for an NCAA bid but another tournament will not disappoint. I love this team!!!!!

Go Rockets!

Feels like bg is leaking oil even though they hung on against Kent on Friday and avoided their 3rd straight loss. Akron is in a tailspin so it’ll be interesting to see who wins that one.

Wmu has been playing teams close so I expect they’ll give us their best shot.

WMU will be a tough game for us. Forget the W/L’s . I hope we have our heads on straight and are focused! BG is “ leaking oil” and they have 2 TOUGH road games to close the season.... @ UA and UB.

Go Rockets!

Akron beat them like, 137 straight until last year, I think, so let’s hope the whammy is back.

Need to agree that this has been a very good run for the Rockets. I must also say that TK has been doing a good job getting the team ready to play. Road wins in the MAC are hard to come by especially when the home team has nothing to lose. Hoping for the cards to play out so meet Buffalo in the finals. You never know if we can pull it off but it will be fun to see if we get that far. You would hope we have a great crowd it they can get there. Go Rockets!
